Essential oils are typically used in aromatherapy to aid in the treatment of certain health problems. In cooler months, most people lean towards warmer oils, like cinnamon and nutmeg. But, did you know that citrus essential oils are actually perfect for winter? Here’s a list of the top 5 citrus oils to make your season bright:

  1. Orange: There are different types of orange oil, but they’re all known to help fight colds and flus, as well stress.
  2. Lemon: With an uplifting aroma, lemon is also used to treat colds and infections.

Make sure that when you purchase essential oils for aromatherapy purposes, the oils you are buying are actually essential oils and not just fragrance oils! Fragrance oils can be artificial and don’t have the same benefits.
